The HOAGLAND family in the obits is the same family as the 1930 census. This may not be the right family you want because this Helen HOAGLAND's engagement notice from May 1946 says she is going to marry James H. SYKES. Is it possible that your Helen was adopted before the 1930 census? Also are you sure the father was George and that it was Delaware County and not some other part of PA. Where did Helen/Marian grow up?
