Hello!

I am wondering if you would be willing to do a cemetery lookup for me. The cemetery is in Elizabethville and is Maple Grove Cem. Let me know if you are able/willing to go and I will send you the details. Thanks!

Thank you so much for the generous offer.
My parents were married somewhere in Harrisburg. Their names were Geraldine Creasy and Marvin Van Loon. The date of their marriage was 3 March 1949.
Any additional information is welcome.

Again, thank you so much.

Jan

I am searching for my family lines. I have a ggg grandfather named John Bender, born about 1796. I don;t know his wife's name so I can't do a lot of tracing about the line. In some info I found regarding the history of Dauphin County I found a John Bender who originally platted the town of Elizabethville (named for his wife). It was platted in 1817 and used to be known as Benderstoettle. Can you tell me anymore about them?

Yes, thanks for your help. I am looking for an obituary for Howard Bayley who died July 4, 1920 in Norwalk, CT. His obit there said he was buried in Dauphin, Dauphin Co. His wife Cora was born in Dauphin and they used that for their permanent residence although they lived in NYC and Pittsburgh. I don't know what cemeteries there might have been in Dauphin in 1920, and I am hoping that there was an obituary in a local paper there which mentioned the place of burial. Do you know what cemeteries were in use in Dauphin in 1920?

He doesn't list baptismal sponsors. I would try and find the church records for these churches and see if you could match up baptismal sponsors. You may also want to find the burial records too.

Hello
I am researching the Claude Commo family who were in the Lykens area in the 1880 census. He died sometime between 1884 and 1892 and I believe might be buried at Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery. Any information you might provide would be greatly appreciated.
