Died Dec 1975 in Lykens, Dauphin. Can anyone find an obit.???

OBIT - Lykens -- Hirum E Messner, 76, o f307 N. Second St, died at Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg. Born in Lykens, a son of the late Hiram and Minnie Grow Messner. His late wife was the former Bertha Rusbatch. Survivors: a daughter, Mrs May Schreffler, 6 sons, Harold, CLarence, Clyde, Edward, Herbert & Donald. Buriaaaal in Wiconisco Cemetery.

Hiram Messner was my uncle. His wife Bessie was one of my grandmother sisters. Am wondering if you are also related to Hiram and Bessie?

Messner family married into my green family about 1870's. I just found the family connection 2 years ago. Do not have much recent stuff but have connection back to 1840. Will exchange any and all info. I work in FTM but can also PDF anything.

Hiram (born in 1899)and Bessie (Rusbatch - born 1902) were married with 7 children - Mae, Harold, Herbert, Clarence, Clyde, Donald & Eddie. Mae, Harold, Herbert and Clarence have passed away. I think I found other information on the remaining children, but am in the process of upgrading computers, so this information is on my old computer. I will find it and send it to you.
Hiram had a brother and sister, Daniel C and Lizzie S. His mother and father were Hiram and Minnie Grow. His gfather was Daniel Messner (b 1835); gmother Elizabeth Buffington (b. 1837) More to come later.
