Anyone have information on Richard CARSON b. ca 1775 in Dauphin Co., d. 1813 (a private in the War of 1812 in Ohio). He is believe to be the son of Richard CARSON (of Dauphin Co.) who died 1818 in Washington Co., PA.

Richard (Jr.) married Elizabeth IRWIN in 1798 in Dauphin Co., and moved in 1899 to a a farm on the boarder of Washington Co., PA and Ohio Co., (West) Virginia where they raised seven children (John, Joseph, Abner, David, Nancy, Irwin, Elizabeth.)

After Richard died in the war, Elizabeth (Irwin) CARSON married his best friend, William FARIS (who had nine children by his first wife, Susanna CURTIS). William FARIS and second wife, Elizabeth (IRWIN-CARSON) FARIS had one son, Abner.

I am trying to find information on Richard Jr. and Richard Sr. of Dauphin Co. Or other Carson families in the 1700s is Dauphin Co.
