Tyrone---Mrs. Sarah A. Sausser, died at her home, Sixteenth and Tenth street, Sunday evening at 5:30 o'clock, after an illness since November last of general debility. The deceased was born in
Dauphin co., September 5, 1834, and was aged 71 years, 11 months and 14 days. She was married to Wm. J. Sausser in 1855 and with the family came to Tyrone in April 1866. Her husband died at Tyrone, Oct. 22, 1880. She is survived by three sons and two daughters, Mrs. H.H. Bollinger, of Altoona; Clinton W. Sausser, of Bellwood; Edw. C., Henry M. and Miss Jennie R. Sausser, of Tyrone. She was an active and consistent member of the First Lutheran church and its several auxiliary societies, a loving and devoted wife and mother and an excellent neighbor. The funeral will take place this afternoon. Services at ther late home at two o'clock will be conducted by her pastor, Rev. F.L. Bergstresser. Interment will follow in Grandview cemetery.
