This Indenture, made the sixth day of April in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty four, between WILLIAM
VanWART and
POLLY VanWART his wife of the first part and LODENSY
DEPUE of the second part all of
Crawford County State of
Pennsylvania, Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Seven Hundred Dollars lawful money of the United States, to them ensealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt and payment whereof they do hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained, sold, released and confirmed, and by these presents, do grant, barain, sell, realease and confirm unto the said party of the second part, and to – heirs and assigns all that certain piece or parcel of land lying and being in Rockdale the county and state aforesaid, bounded and described as follows to wit:
Beginning at the south west corner of Donation tract No. one hundred and fifty one at a white oak, thence by land of Kleokner No. 1710 one hundred and twenty perches to a corner, thence east thirty and four tenths perches to a coerner, thence east thirty and four thenths perches to a corner, thence south by land of DANIEL ALEXANDER one hundered and twenty perches to a corner, thence west by line of tract thirty three and four tenths perches to the place of beginning containing twenty five acres of land strict measure – it being the same land conveyed to first party by GEORGE and ELLEN
MORSE of North East
Erie county Pennsylvania eighteen hundred fifty four November the first as refference (sic) to the same will fully appear
Together with all and singular the rights,k liberteis, privileges, [ ]ditaments and appurtenaces, whatesoever thereto belonging, and the [ ] and re[ ]inders, rents, issues and profits thereof: And also all the state and interest whatsoever of — the said part of the first part in law or equity, of, in, to or out of the same, To Have and to Hold, the premises hereby granted, or intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said part of the second part, her heirs and assigns, to the use of the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns forever, And the said part_ of the first part_ heirs, the above mentioned and described premises, with the appurtenances, unto the said part_ of the second part, against the said part_ of the first part and heirs, and against all and eavery other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents.

POLLY VanWART, and acknowledged the above Indenture to be their act and deed, to the end that the same might be recorded as such. She, the said
POLLY being of full age and by me separate and apart from her said husband, duly examined, and the contents of the above indenture fully made known to her, declared that she did voluntarily, and of her own free will and accord, and without any [ ] or compulsion in the part of her said husband, sign, seal, execute and deliver the same. In witness wehreof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 6 day of April 1864.
