September 5 1871 - Joseph Woodring and wife, Susannah Fietta Woodring to John Rhodes, Adam P Rhodes, Elias M Rhodes, George W Rhodes and Isaac M Rhodes
Know all men by these presents, that this fifth day of September 1871, we, Joseph Woodring and Susannah Fietta Woodring, his wife, of Cussewago Township, Crawford County and State of Pennsylvania, for and in consideration of the sum of two thousand and fifty dollars, dollars to us in hand paid or secured to be paid by John, Adam P, heirs of Hiram dec'd, Elias M, George W and Isaac M Rhodes, of Hayfield Township, state and county aforesaid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have remised, released and quit claimed and by these presents do devise, release and quit claim unto the said John, Adam P, heirs of Hiram dec'd, Elias M, George W and Isaac Rhodes aforesaid and to their heirs and assignees forever. All that certain piece or undivided one-seventh (1/4 part of the land) situated in the township of Hayfield and in the county and state aforesaid, bounded and described as follows, to wit: on the north by a public road; east by lands of Henry Dieter and Jacob Brookhouser; on the south by lands of ___ Cullen and John Sims; and on the west by land of ____ Milliron, Edward Osburn and Elias Mason containing fifty-five acres more or less, the same being the lands of George Rhodes, dec'd. Together with all and singular, the appurtenances, thereunto appurtenances or in anywise belonging, and the revisions, remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof and all the estate, right title, interest, claims whatsoever, of us, the said Joseph Woodring and Susannah Fietta Woodring, his wife, either in law or equity, of, in and to the above bargained premises. To have and to hold the same to the said John, Adam P, heirs of Hiram dec'd, Elias M, George W and Isaac M Rhodes and to their heirs and assignees forever.
In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals the day and year first above written.
