Just discovered a son born in 1878 to Margaret Murray Blakeslee, who dies after giving birth to a 2nd child in 1879/1880, and an Unknown Blakeslee. The child's name is Clarence Blakeslee and he is living in Athens Township, Crawford County, PA in the 1880 census with his aunt Nancy Mury (should be Murray). Can anyone verify that his father was Walter Eugene Blakeslee, son of William D. Blakeslee and Chloe Rasey? I find Walter living in 1880 with another Murray sibling, William D. Murray in McKean County, PA but he could be there because his sister is married to William Murray. I also have a copy of a deed dated 1906 where Walter's siblings give him land in Sparta, PA. This conflicts with other trees on Ancestry who say that Walter died 27 Sep 1900.
I do find a Clarence Blakeslee living in North Franklin, Washington County, PA in the 1920 Census but I'm at a loss how to verify that he is the same person as my Clarence.
So with all this information, I was hoping someone might know something on either Walter Eugene or Clarence Blakeslee.
