John Beer, 1814-1887(son of George Beer and Gertrude, aka. Catrout/Gatrout Saxman) married Anna Mary Hetrick, 1817-1862 (daughter of Johan Adam Hetrick/Hetterich and Esther Zimmerman). They had the following children:

Solomon Beer (1840-1905) m. Martha Maria Cyphert
Reuben Beer (1843-?) m. Nancy Boggess abt 1866 - WV
Elizabeth aka Jane (b 1846) m. Granville Cutright in WV
George Washington Beer (1848-?) m. Mary Martha Taylor in 1868 - WV
John Lindsey Beer (1850-1929) m. Vilinda Jane Shinn in 1875 in WV
Esther Beer (1853-1915) m. Albert Anthony Cyphert in 1873.
Mary A Beer (1856-?) m. possibly a Pierce

After Anna Mary died, John married Barbara Casto and had a few other children. Anna Mary, John and Barbara are all buried at Elbon Cemetery, near Sago in Upshur Co, WV.
