Florence A. Berlin

Florence A. Berlin, 83, of St. Petersburg, Pa., died unexpectedly at 9 am Friday, Dec 22, 2000, at her residence.

Born Feb 27, 1917, in Turkey City, she was daughter of James and Bessie Murphy Leavy.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Berlin was a member of the Fundamental Baptist Church of St. Petersburg and a member of the St. Petersburg Senior Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Graydon Berlin, on Dec. 18, 1998.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Martin (Elizabeth) Stevenson of Culver City, Calif.; two sons, Graydon Lennis Berlin of Phoenix, Ariz. and Jaydee Berlin of Greenville; three grandchildren. Kenneth and Michael Stevenson and Jodi Calvert; and three great grandchildren, Amanda and Grace Steveson and Sidney Calvert.
Also surviving are two brothers, Jack Leavy of Turkey City and Tom Leavy of Clarion; a sister, Midge Hutchinson of Turkey City; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

There will be no viewing or visitation.

Memorial services for Mrs. Berlin will be announced at a later date.

Interment will be in St. Petersburg Cemetery.

The family suggests memorials be made to St. Petersburg Volunteer Fire Departmanet or Emlenton Area Ambulance Service.
The Hile Funeral Home in St. Petersburg is in charge of arrangements."
