My mother thinks that July of 1937 had to be significant somehow, we just can't find the connection. It's so frustrating! There is only 1 Thomas Fenton on the Philadelphia census and city directory in 1930, so I imagine that has to be him, but he was listed as a lodger in a boarding house of some type, and I can't figure out how to work forward or backwards from just that scrap of information.
