In 1830 Census in Schuylkill Twsp, there were four ROSSITER families listed that had 18 year old sons. John page 126, Thomas page 123, William page 131 and Jesse page 126. Does anyone know if these men had a son named John b. 12 Aug 1812 PA?

The surname has also been spelled Rosseter, Rossetter and Roseter. This was my 2 great grandfather who died 1873 Stewart Co., TN and was married to Nancy Thompson. At the age of 24 (1836) he was in Stewart Co., TN with 325 acres of land worth $2000 and the only ROSSITER in the state. He must have come from somewhere.
