I am trying to find information on a island in the Schuylkill River known as Peters Island. It is located between Spring City and Royersford. This island was owned by the Hipple family in the last 1700's. It was sold to a Peter Custer in the early 1800's. I need to know about the Hipple's that owned this island. Any information would be great. Thank you.

I have Custer and Hipple in my line. The Kuster/Custer settled in Plumstead,Pa. The Hipples settled in Chester Cty. Starting with Laurentz, then Henry, then Lawrence who married Sarah Fretz

I am looking for the family of Lusetta Hipple who was married to James Wells. On the NJ census report for their son Harry James Wells (b. Jan. 8, 1869 in Philadelphia (?), James was listed as born in France and Lusetta as born in PA, dates unknown. Do you have any references to this Lusetta? I appreciate any information that you may have.
