I know this has been a long time since you wrote this but I saw your info and I think I can add some things for you and maybe you can help me out as well.

My great grandmother is Mary Agnes Burns. She married John Patrick Kiniry in Coatesville 1903? My grandmother is Eleanor Kiniry Schlosman. I know at some point they all lived on Ceder St together in Coatesville. I am trying to get some type of info on the Burns family. Did you find any info on Philip pre US? Any info would be great. I can fill in my blanks for you if you would like

I think Philip came to the US with his family in the 1850's.
He was my grandfather's brother. Your grandmother & my
mother were good friends. My grandfather was Michael J &
he married Ethel Bailey in Coatesville in 1909. My mother
Dorothy E was born in Coatesville in 8/1910. I remember
your Great grandmother as we went to see them when we lived
in Gap Pa. I don't know too much about them other than
your uncle John was a priest who died around 1988 or 1989.
He lived in Kenneth Square at the time. There were some
Kiiniry's in NJ but I am not sure if they are still here.
Hope this helps a little bit.

Joan

Yes my Uncle Johnny died back in the 80's. My grandmother died in 1972 before I had the chance to meet her. does your mother have any stories about my grandmother Ellie? See I just had a son that I named after her and I am doing all of this family history for him. My great Aunt Celcila(Cedar) is the only surviving member of the Kiniry's and does not have any info on the Burns'. If you find anything else about the burns family that would be great. Thank you for responding to me!

I don't know how much you have on Phillip J Burns. He is the son of Gerald and Mary Burns. He was born in Sunderland England about 1855.He had a sister Mary Ella also born in England. The family is in Chester County by 1860 so they immigrated sometime between 1855 and 1860. I have very little on the Kiniry family and would very much like to exchange info. By the way, Phillip G Burns was my grandfather. He is the brother of Mary Agnes.

I don't know too much about them other than they came from
Ireland to England. I knew Mary Agnes as Mame. Guess that
was family nickname for her. I knew John the priest, he said the mass when my grandfather died. That was the last
time I saw your grandmother. That was in 1959.

I am not sure if the Kiniry Family inNJ is related however
the girl that I spoke to said her father was named after
his uncle who was a priest.

If I learn anymore Iwill let you know.
