Hi, I am interested in any information you have on the Mays family... do you know if Everhart was married? I have a Mary Maze (Mays) who may have been married prior to joining MY line. (Mary was born 14 Dec 1814 and died 31 May 1889--victim on day train in Johnstown Flood) or she may have been Your Samuel's sister? I have never been able to find her in various spellings but she married John Sweeny and took over his household with many children (born to Mary Linn Furey d. after May 1846 before May 1847 when John married Mary Maze ), had them all baptized in the First Presbyterian Church in Bellefonte in 1847 and then had a son with John .... John Robison Swaney... my g-grandfather. I wondered if her family name was Robison and she married a Mays or if she was a Mays. Anyway, I know this doesn't answer your query, but wondered if you could shed light on mine!
