For a number of years I have been posting here about my great grandfather WILLIAM CURTIS YEAGER 1859 - 1947. In the past six months or so I have had a number of breakthroughs, but am still doing some searching. First --William's father was PETER S YEAGER 1824 - 1908. Peter had two much older brother's -- DANIEL, and SAMUEL. Peter was married twice -- hes first wife, MARY HELLER, died in 1862. At the time of his childrens birth and Mary's death (bet 1857 and 1862 ) the family lived in Clinton not Centre Co. --- a large mystry cleared up --they moved to Snow Shoe in about 1865. They may have also lived in Gregg Twp. How close ate these two?
Anyway, all three brothers made the trip to Stevenson Co.Illinois, and I already knew about that and my great grandmothers family, the KERRS and PRICES. If you can helpo with more about about any of these families in Centre Co please contact me .
