Looking for any information on the family of Omer (possibly Homer) HECK who married Mabel BUTLER, daughter of C.L BUTLER.

Homer and Mabel appear in the 1930 census in Emporium with his son Donald from his first marriage. Trying to find out if there were children of the marriage between Mabel and Homer.

Found possible SSDI entry for Mabel's death as Feb 1963. Can anyone tell me, is there some way to find out an actual date of death in order to possibly track down an obit? Am in Canada, so not sure what is available for this area online.
