I believe he was said to have been living in the Bens Creek area and was sending his wife back to the old country to show their two children to their relatives. The story is that she was on the train and did not know he was killed so she went to Austria, left the oldest of the two children, 2 yr. old, then came back to the U.S. with the youngest, 6 mo.old, and remarried. The family does not know who or how he was buried but did locate his burial place in St. Michael s Cemetery.
Michael was only 29 yrs. of age a the time of his death. The oldest child was brought to the U.S. by a relative, not known, about 5 yrs.later and raised by his mother and step-father. I believe the mother's name was Helen Czima.
