Hello,

I'm attempting to confirm lineage on my G-G-Grandfather, Samuel Eister or Oyster born in Schuylkill Co., PA 20 Oct 1826. to that of the Oyster line of Berks Co, PA. My records show his father was named Samuel Eister, born 13 May 1789 in Berks Co, PA.....I'm not real confident of his father's data. His mother has not been identified in my records. I have a translated document from birth & marriage certificates printed in German from Schuylkill Co churches for Samuel Eister 1826's wife identified as Elizabeth Morland or Mohlen. She was the daughter of John Morland & Kathrina Hummel born 26 May 1827 in Manheim Twnsp and was baptized 7 Nov 1828 by a Mr. Droll. She married Samuel Eister of Norwegian Township, Schuylkill Co on 2 May 1847 by Preacher William G. Mennig.

I'm looking for the name of Samuel Eister 1826's mother and to confirm the spelling of his wife's last name---Moreland, Mohlen or ???........My records are solid after 1826, but I've found the variations of surname spelling for my Oyster, Eister, Eyster, Oister confusing as well as the surname spelling for Samuel 1826's wife. Once I properly identify Samuel Eister 1789 I should be able to link him to the correct Berks Co Oyster family.
