The Ridenbaugh family was living in this area around 1810 to around 1860. The father and head of this family was Adam Ridenbaugh born abt 1775 in Loudoun, VA and moved to Bedford PA. abt 1810. The names of his children are: Frederick R. b abt 1814 Bedford Co. PA., John S. R b abt 1816 Bedford Co. PA., Sarah R. b abt 1819 Bedford Co. PA.,William Fahnstock R. b abt 1821 Bedford PA., George R.b abt 1822 Bedford, PA.,Alexander R. b abt 1823 Bedford PA., and Louis R. b abt 1831 Bedford PA.
