I am extremely confused. I see not only here on ancestry (on trees) but on the web in regards to Adam Wolfe and family, and Rachel Oldham and family, born and or married, etc. prior to 1800. Many dates are given, so I won't bother throwing those out. I just don't understand where these dates are coming from since Beaver didn't become a county until 1800. Actually, there was one date that went as far back as 1760. Could it have been a township?? Can anyone help me? Or explain this situation.
