Hi Fred, I didn't know that Ehrenfried, Ehrendeld were the same name until recently. Johan Georg and Chaterina Barbara came from Germany in 1773 with children George, Jacob, Martin and my ancestor Catherine. The parents along with children Martin and Sara born here followed Jacob to North Carolina, after 1800. Catherine married Andrew Crites and moved to Washington Co. abt. 1790. Georg was last known to be living near Greensburg in 1810 but that is the last information anyone has. All the Ehrenfreids and Ehrenfelds in this area must descend from him. Ginger
