Your best bet would be the Homestead Daily Messenger newspaper. The Mifflin Historical Society has a list of obits from this paper but it only goes up to maybe the 1920's.

The Pittsburgh Carnegie Library has the Messenger on Microfilm from 1907 to 1979. If you are not local I believe they will copy an obit for you (for a fee) as long as you have the date of death which you do. Their phone number is 412.622.3154
