I don't think Jacob and Barbara came to the USA. I got the info from my great-grandfather Peter's civil war pension record. It said that he lived with his parents in Germany till he came to America in 1860. They lived in Waltersdorf Germany. I think there may have been a brother named John. One of the pension record papers is witnessed in 1898 by a John Sattler who said her knew Peter for 50 years and Peter was born in 1840. The paper is also signed by Ferdinand Malsch.
