I am wondering if there is an everyname probate index, or if it is only indexed by the deceased name? I have 5 sisters with no parents names, and it could get interesting trying to find a probate for a common surname over a span of say, 40-50 years if the names of the heirs aren't in the index.
that said, does anyone have access to the index, and would you be willing to check it for me if it has the heirs names in it?
I have sisters
Elizabeth Young wife of John Weygandt
Margaret Young wife of Jonathan Pearson Christina/Christinia Young wife of William Perrine Applegate
Lavinia Young wife of Henry? Smith
and
Catherine Young wife of Benjamin Gossage/Gorsuch
their father could have died as early as 1815. if he died young, they of course won't be married at the time of the probate...
one possible clue is that Judge James Young seems to have a connection to the family. perhaps if he left a will or probate it might eventually lead back to the girls, through finding names in his probate or will and researching them?
many thanks for any help finding the girl's parents.
