I spent the afternoon at the Carnegie looking for death
records. I came across a cause of death for a 4 yo child but I don't know what it meant. It was listed as SWM.
Her 5 yo sister died a week before of cerebra meningitis.
Was SWM a different form of meningitis? The mother died the year before of childbed fever. The baby also died. I can't imagine the grief!
