They were married in Hagerstown, MD 21 September 1909. See the newspaper attachment with the headline "Social Happenings" dated Monday, September 21, 1959 noting Charles and Grace [Sturtz] Schultz/Shultz 50th wedding anniversary.

I did not find a marriage anouncement in the 1909 Hagerstown, MD papers or in the Adams Co., PA papers. I also could not find Charles' OBIT because the month of APRIL 1973 was missing from the newspaper data base. Deb if you want me to send you all of the attachments send me your email address. Charles' death date,17 APRIL 1973, was noted in the 17 April 1974 MEMORIAM posted by his "wife and children." I came accross Charles' date of birth, 30 November 1984, on the "Find a Grave" site. He is buried in Flohr's LC Cemetery. By the way more than half the folks buried there are related in some way to my wife. Here parents are also buried there. It is the largest cemetery in Franklin Twp., Adams Co., PA.
