Surnames: Stultz, Leas, Crumb
We are seeking a positive link, proof, hint, or anything showing the possible relationship between Nicholas Stultz (b. 16 MAY 1785 PA/d. 16 JUL 1865 PA) m. Catharine Crumb (b. abt. 1789/d.25 SEP 1863) and their possible son Conrad W. Stultz (b. 26 MAR 1812 MD/d. 11 NOV 1894 PA) (m. -15 MAR 1842 Adams Co., PA) Matilda Leas (b. 18 OCT 1818 MD/d. 20 SEP 1885 PA).

All the information we have leads us to believe that Conrad is the son of Nicholas & Catharine. His age is OK. A child of his age is noted in the MD 1820 US Census of Nicholas's family.

He was one of the administrators of Nicholas's estate but no mention was made of their relationship. All the other children of Nicholas renounced their right of administration noting their relationship.

All other information indicates that Conrad was Nicholas and Catharine's first born son, but we have no conclusive proof.

Conrad was a "doer". He commanded in 1842 a troop of the local militia called the "Pennsylvania Rifleman", in Adams Co., Franklin Township, PA.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jack and Peg Novicki
