I have records for Cornelius NICE who married Susanna KRAUSS married ca 1720s Germantown, PA. What I'm looking for is information on their children : Susanna, Christopher, Sarah, and Cornelius. There were others attributed to this family: David, Mary, John, Elizabeth, William.

Cornelius was born abt 1754. He, along with Susanna, are mentioned in their mother Susanna's Will dated 1792. I am trying to make the connection between this Cornelius b. 1754 and my Cornelius NICE who entered New Brunswick, Canada in 1783 as a Loyalist... he would have been born abt the same time. HIs family did originally come from Philadelphia area. He named a daughter Susannah and a son Cornelius.

I believe he fought with the New Jersey Volunteers. On the records, Cornelius' name is recorded as Cornelius NIX. There is also a Christopher NIX with him through a lot of the records but then I believe dies in action.

The records you sent showing the marriage of Cornelius NICE in Baltimore - does it show his parents as being Cornelius NICE {or similar spelling} and Susannah Krauss? And what about David and your Mary - who were their parents and are all three of these people siblings?

Sorry, that is all I had. I copied the info years ago from a card catalog possible at the Hall of Records in Annnapolis.
I did note a deed or indenture between William Askew and Christopher Nice dated June 8 1762. for property West side of Jones Falls (this is in Baltimore County) for rent of 20 shillings/year.

I would think that Cornelius married to Elizabeth Webster and David Nice married to Catherine Peck were siblings. And David Nice in Will book 3 dated 1782, their father. The other Nice notes are in the 1800s.
Mary Nice Alder's husband, Robert Alder, was executor for a Nice, but I cannot find my Nice folder at this moment. All my papers were shuffled when we had to evacuate for the 2 hurricanes. It is here someplace and I will send it on when I locate it. Sorry I can't be more help
