Seeking information on any early Bennett's (variations on spelling) in Adams County from about 1780 to 1800. I have found an Isaac Bennit in the 1790 Reading Twp., York County, PA census. Reading Twp. is now in Adams County I am told. I do not see any Bennett's in the 1800 census for Adams Co. and wonder if anyone else is researching this surname.
