Am looking for information on the union of Mary "Polly" Robinson daughter of David Robinson to Luke Conley (Connolly). Luke was born in County Roscommon, Ireland on August 15, 1774 and fought in the Irish Rebellion. He came through Staten Island in 1801 and took up residence in Adams Co. Pa. Married Polly in 1803 in McAllister Church. Were married according to the Catholic ritual even though Polly was of the Dutch Reform faith. Had a daughter, Jane, who was born in 1804. Before she was a year old they moved to Yates County of New York state. She was accompained by a sister. This sister later married John Lane brother of Isaac Lane and shortly removed to Indiana.
I am trying to fill in some of the blanks in their relationship. And hopefully some will know about one of Luke's relatives that became the Right Rev. Bishop John Connolly of New York City.
