FRANCES L. MANN, 94, REGISTERED NURSE
FRANCES L. HERPEL MANN, 94, of 426 Route 194 North, Abbottstown, Adams County, formerly of Mountville, Lancaster County, died at home Sunday October 7, 2001 after a long illness. Born August 17, 1907 in Bradford, McKean County, PA she was a daughter of the late Frank A. and Della Irene Raifsnyder Herpel. Her husband, Frederick S. Mann predeceased her, in 1961. A registered nurse, Mrs. Mann retired from Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood. She was a member of Wellington Monthly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends, Wellsville, and the Lankenau Hospital Alumni Association. Surviving are a son, Frederick R. Mann of Abbottstown; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Cutting, who died in July 1982, and a granddaughter, Linda Proven, who died in January 1982. Graveside services will be held at the Mountville Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at Feiser Funeral Home, 306 Harrisburg St., East Berlin, from the hours of 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
