I have a John EMERICK born July 04, 1781 in Berks County, Pennsylvania, and died July 22, 1847 in Illinois. He married MARY MAGDALENA TROUTMAN 1802 in Somerset County,
Pennsylvania, daughter of PETER TROUTMAN and MARY BARBARA. She was born 1781 in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, and died August 30, 1853 in Ashland County, Ohio. Their children were:GEORGE EMERICK, JOHN, JACOB, DRUCILLA, MARY, ANDREW, CHRISTENA, REBECCA, and ALEXANDER.

This family also lived in Asland County Ohio. Are there any connections?

I am looking for a Nathaniel Emerick from Pennsylvania I'm not sure where he was born, but I think Pottsville may be a possibility. He would have been born in 1848. Have you come across this name at all?

Who is the other family in Ashland County Ohio? By the way I am from Drucilla's line.
