Do you have any dates for these Smiths? Also what part of the county are they in? There are Smiths in Menallen Township, northern adams County from very early dates.
adams County Historical Society has a genealogy pedigre chart of this Smith family in their Smith family file. I think there is an Emanuel Smith in this tree.

HIS WIFE LULA ESTELLA GOUKER BORN JUN12,1897 DIED MAY5,1955.THEY WERE ALSO FROM Y.S. AREA. EMANUEL AND CLARA OTHER CHILDREN WERE. Clara Sevilla Martha Virginia Lentz Smith was my great great grandmother.

Stella Yohe was my great grandmother, and she died in 1988. She and Cyrus Yohe had 9 children, 5 of which lived to be adults.

Violet P - my grandmother married Earl Hall and had 2 children - Karlene & Charlotte. She died in 1993.

Janet - Married Ronald Tuckey and had several children.

Marie - Maried a Trostle and had several children.

Peter - Married Delores (Dode) and had 3 children - he died in 1979. His wife just passed last year.

Arthur - Married Margaret, adopted 2 children - He died in the early/mid 80's.

Sorry I can't be more specific, but this is what I can remember off the top of my head!
