I came across a site that has interesting Yamhill County links http://www.sites.onlinemac.com/history/ The first link at the top of this page is a "donation land claim database" (I clicked on the "caution" link which provides the list in HTML format since I'm not familiar with MS Access). On the links for pages 30 and 31 are several McClure individuals listed (James, John B. and William C.). I don't know how to get access to these records but if you think there is a chance these may connect to you let me know and I'll dig into it.
