Looking for information on the family of John Kay Delashmutt-
1814-1885 or 1886. Lived in Yamhill county for many years. He had a large family. Looking for descendants from any of his four wives.

J K Delashmutt had a HUGE family. I started to trace a child or two but there are too many generations to search through. I did find two family trees on Ancestry.com and asked the authors to contact you.

Do you have information on any descendant that is more current than 1886 when John died?

thanks for looking about for me.Yes, John K. certainly did have a huge family. I have been having pretty good luck tracing some of his kids. Next summer we will go to where he is buried in Oregon. We have no clue what the cemetery looks like. i think I might try to query that cemetery.

My husband's great grandmother was Sarah Delashmutt, John K's daughter who came out on the wagon train in 1852.
So we have her history and then her family though some parts are sketchy.
