W H Huston, of Fossil

W. H. Huston, father-in-law of District Attorney John A. Collier, died at the latter's home in Fossil yesterday of pneumonia after an illness of one week. Deceased came here from Pendleton three years ago. He leaves a wife and one daughter.
Mr. Huston was born in Ohio, May 22, 1846. He joined the Union Army at the age of 19, being a member of Company A, One Hundred and Fiftieth Illinois Infantry. He was a member of the Kit Carson Post of G. A. R. In 1878 he settled at Albany and lived there until 1899. He then moved to Pendleton where he lived until three years ago, when he came to Fossil.
