Check with the mortuary listed in the death notice.

I did this for an ancestor and got a ton of information including a scanned copy of the funeral program.

You can also check with the Oregon Archives to see if they have an obituary or one of The Dalles newspapers. The public library has a wealth of Wasco Co. information too.
