My ancestor, Albert Harbaugh, is listed in the 1900 census as living in South Milton, Umatilla Cty Oregon. However, he is
not in the 1910 census. Would there be a search site for cemetaries in Milton? I live in Pennsylvania.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Bob:

I couldn't find an Albert Harbaugh listed in the Oregon death index. Are you certain that he passed away there?
Also-did he marry and have a child while he was in Umatilla County?
I found this listing:
Case# 0961
Name Beran, Grace B Harbaugh Hunold
Date 07-28-1902
Record Type Evidence
County Umatilla

The date is Grace's date of birth. She passed away in California-here's that record:
Name: Beran, GRACE BELLE
Social Security #: 554013734
Sex: FEMALE
Birth Date: 28 Jul 1902
Birthplace: Oregon
Death Date: 28 Nov 1994
Death Place: ORANGE
Mother's Maiden Name: ARNOLD
Father's Surname: Harbaugh

Her mother's maiden name was Arnold-and there was an Arnold family in Milton in 1900.

I checked the Milton IOOF cemetery online and didn't find a Harbaugh listed there. (Find a grave)

Here's another link to look for records:

Let me know if you have any additional information.

Dear Ms. Nelson:
Thank you for the information. This might give me a lead.
I only know that Albert was born in Pa in 1859 and was in
Umatilla Cty for the 1900 census. In 1900, He was listed as single.
Best Regards,
Bob Kellner

If he did in Milton Freewater he would have been buried in the old Milton Cem. and if that is the case you are out of luck most of the grave marker has been distoryed. This cem is on a dead in street and kids through the years have come in and destoryed the grave markers.
