Sarah Harden was born 1852 in Missouri. She moved to California while still a baby with her parents. She married John Harden when she was 17. Her parents were Reuben Hail and Maryann Inman. When she died, she had five daughters and two sons. Mrs. Mary McKay, Mrs. Chester McCullough, Mrs Gerald Kilgore, Mrs. Anna Cartano, Mrs Aarthur Shick. Her sons were W.R. Harden and Jasper Harden.
