Everett Earl Baker
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, 2005, in River View Cemetery for Everett Earl Baker, who died Oct. 2 at age 84.
Mr. Baker was born June 28, 1921, in Cove. During World War II, he served in the Army in North Africa. He moved to Pendleton in 1948, and lived in Washougal for 11 years and then moved to Vancouver in 1990. He worked for Pendleton Woolen Mills for 35 years, retiring as supervisor of the robe throw department. He moved to Salem last April. In 1945, he married Nita J. Spargur.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, M. Jean Lyell and Molly Vonderche; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. His daughter JoAnn Kellner died in 2003.
