KEIZER Pauline Steinbrook-Pranger, 79, died Sunday in Salem. (MARION CO.)
Born in Salem, she attended Brush College Elementary, Parrish Middle and Salem High schools. She moved to the Keizer area in 1944. She worked in housekeeping at Salem Hospital. She was active in Brush College Pioneers and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and needlework. She married Kink Steinbrook in 1937. She married Robert Pranger in 1964. He died in 1991.
Survivors include her sons, Rick and Perry Steinbrook, both of Salem and Robert Pranger, Jr., of Kent, Wash.; daughters, Crystal Madison of Elkton and Ginger Ray and Carolyn Philp, both of Salem; sisters, Juanita Smeltzer of McMinnville and Ruby Miltimore of Centralia, Wash.; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visiting will be noon to 8 p.m. today at Howell-Edwards-Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Funeral Directors. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Willamette Valley Baptist Church, where she was a member. Private interment will be at Zena Cemetery. Contributions: the church.
