Luke Williams, "VA Settlers In Missouri" - Concord Church, organized 16 May 1817, Concord Cemetery, 6 miles south of Boonville, in Cooper County, MO. Luke Williams b. Aug. 1776 in Colony of Virginia, settled in Cooper County, Mo in 1816, was the first minister to preach at this Concord Baptist Church (Cooper County Atlas, 1877, p. 17, "History of Cooper County" by Levens & Drake, 1876, pp58, 61, 112).
