MRS. BUCHANAN SERVICE MAY 6

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 6, at the Parker Funeral Home for Mrs. Rhoda Edmison Buchanan aged 63, of Newport (Lincoln Co.). Burial was in the Eureka cemetery.

Mrs. Buchanan was born in Wisconsin on February 16, 1896, and passed away at Pacific Communities Hospital on May 4. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witnesses.

Survivors are her husband, Charles of Newport, three daughters, Mrs. Ida Lohrer of Newport, Mrs. Suzanne Vinson of Heppner, and Mrs. Mary Patterson of Whitmore, California; five sons, Jack of Seattle, Clarence of Heppner, Charles of Portland, David of College Place, Washington, and Robert of the U.S. Navy, one sister, Mrs. Amy Nelson of Kittas, Washington, two brothers, Clarence Edmison of Bremerton, Washington, and Ted Edmison of Ellensburg, Washington. There are 16 grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.
