McKENNEY, CHARLES V. Born May 10, 1917 in Oklahoma. Passed away August 2, 2000 in Roseville, CA. Preceded in death by his loving wife Elina McKenney. He is survived by his brother Albert McKenney, sister Alberta Campbell, son Ronnie McKenney and family, daughter Lani Lofton and family. Will be greatly missed by stepsons Robert and Donald Freitas, stepdaughter Mary Osteen and grandsons Cody and Andrew Freitas, loving companion Vera Carpenter and her family, and many, many friends, especially those in his square dance group: the Starlight Shufflers. Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 12, 10:00 a.m. in the Family Chapel at Mount Vernon Mortuary, 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks.
