Davenport is the maiden name of my great, great grandmother Sarah (Sallie) whose husband was Calvin Thomas also Cherokee, there daughter was Lillian Thomas, they lived in Mississippi, Texas and Oklahoma 1800-1930's then moved west to California. My grandmother was very proud to be a Davenport, she was born in Texhoma, Oklahoma in 1910.
