I am looking for any information about James N. "Jimmy" Jones. Born in the 1840s/1850s in Kentucky, he served as a scout/deputy U.S. marshal at Fort Sill and was later Captain of Indian Police at Anadarko, I.T. After leaving this position, he owned a land company in Verden, OK and was a farmer/rancher near Verden. He died in the 1920s. I am working on a biography about Jones and will gladly share what information I have in exchange for any other info. Thank you.
