Sarah Jane Culleson Sloan was my great grandmother. That was her Christian name. I do not know her given name. You will probably not find any records on her. The records office for the Osage Nation in Pawhuska, OK burned down a long time ago. She was full blooded Cherokee. A little known fact is that a Cherokee chief tried to buy her from my great grandfather. They were married on the reservation. Her husband was from Pennsylvania. I'm sorry I couldn't be more help.
