HARVISON, KNOX, MCGILBRA

I am researching my ancestor, Jeanetta Aurora HARVISON, daughter of Tom HARVISON and Amy MCGILBRA (MCGILLVARY) of Hickory Ground or Eufala. Ben KNOX was a relative of HARVISON who came to I.T. from Alabama about 1840. My information is sketchy. Please email me if you have any information to share about these people. Thank you very much!

I know your message was posted a year ago, but I've just found ( I think) that Harvison is the maiden name of my ggggrandmother. Do you know of any Harvison daughter that married a Starnes? Do you recognize the name Rufus Harvison? Thanks for any response. Also, I thought your name was also quite a coincidence.

Dan Monroe Harvison was my grandfather and my grandmother was Ethel Boling. Do you have more information you could share with me?

Rufus Monroe Harvison and Mary Etta Morris are my Great Great Grandparents. My Grandparents are Violet Harvison and Robert LaFayette Johnson, their daughter Patsy is my mother. I have never heard of a Martha Jane Starns. Could you help me out with that. It's nice to see our family tree on the internet after all my searching! Thank you for any help that you can provide.

Rufus John and Nancy Jane Kent are my Great Great Great Grandparents. Their son, Rufus Monroe Harvison, was married to Mary Etta Morris. Their son, Dan Monroe Harvison, was married to Ethel Boling. Their daughter, Violet May Harvison was married to Robert LaFayette Johnson. Their daughter Patsy was my mother. I'm a little confused about the entry about Mary Jane Starns, exactly who was she? I have never heard of her. It's nice to see my family on the internet. I know we are related. Thanks for any help you can give.

I saw your query re: Rufus Monroe Harvison. I'm descended from Sarah Starnes, a sister or half-sister to Rufus Harvison, son of Wm. Alberto and Nancy Starnes Harvison. I'd love to swap info.
