I have transcribed the 1890-1907 Marriage Records for Muskogee, Indian Territory for Okmulgee County. If you think your ancestor married in Indian Territory post there names on the message board & I will look & see if their marriage was made of record at the courthouse. Not everyone’s marriage was recorded back then.

Not sure my previous message went through. Looking for marriage date of William Montgomery to Mary ? They were on the 1900 Census Indian Territory Creek Nation, Township 10 N Range 14E. They had been married 2 years and so marriage year would be around 1898. Thanks for your help. Rita

I am looking for a marriage record for my great grandparents, Lee A. Cox and Maybelle (Bell) Ellis. They had a child born in Feb 1898 so I'm guessing that they were married in 1897.
